Her brand new single ‘One I’m Searching For’ offers an irresistible blend of Acid Jazz tingled with 70’s era Disco and Nu-Funk. Georgia draws inspiration from the new wave of Jazz and funk music listening to artists; The Brand New Heavies, Moonchild, Jamiroquai and Michael Jackson. ’One I’m Searching For’ is about having fun and meeting someone on the dance floor; Georgia explains the message of the story as the stars alining bringing two people together at the perfect time with a slice of space disco and out of this world love. Georgia’s debut EP ’Forget Me Not’ was released on the 27th of August 2021. Produced by Scott Ralph, ’Forget Me Not’ presents an eclectic sound of Jazz/Pop, Calypso and Bossa Nova influences, portraying a strong theme of empowering love songs; positivity and Self-love. ‘Think About You’ is a featured track from the EP which brings an irresistible blend of colourful vocal, an infectious upbeat melody of Jazz Pop, infused with Brass, Jazz piano, dreamy harmonies and eloquent storytelling. With a deep rooted love for Jazz music, Georgia has grown up listening to Nina Simone, Melody Gardot, Esperanza Spalding and Norah Jones. She likes to immerse herself in all colourful styles of Jazz and 70’s disco funk, creating a nostalgic yet current brand of music. The 24-year-old’s debut television appearance was made in 2019 when she became a quarter-finalist on ‘The Voice UK’. Georgia released her debut single ‘Hotel Room’ in the beginning of 2021, along with her unique and quirky music video filmed inside an Antique shop, ‘Hotel Room’ gained huge attraction by fans and radio stations across the West Midlands region. She has also played at venues all over the UK including upstairs at the iconic Jazz venue Ronnie Scott’s London.
